In 2020, when the pandemic brought commercial work to a halt, I shifted focus fully to my own art practice. Since then, I’ve produced watercolours shaped by those uncertain times and, more recently, a growing body of en plein air painting since relocating from Paris to Saint Nazaire on the Atlantic coast of France.
Originally from New Zealand, I’ve lived most of my adult life in London, New York, and Paris. My perspective as an artist is shaped by that journey — between cultures, disciplines, and landscapes — now grounded in a return to a more elemental way of seeing and making, french version bien sûr.
En 2020, la pandémie a marqué un tournant : j’ai pleinement investi ma pratique artistique. D’abord par des aquarelles influencées par l’époque, puis à travers une série d’œuvres en plein air, commencée après mon installation, de Paris à Saint-Nazaire en 2023.
Originaire de Nouvelle-Zélande, j’ai vécu entre Londres, New York et Paris. Mon regard d’artiste s’est formé dans ces croisements de cultures et de territoires, aujourd’hui ancré dans une démarche plus directe, plus essentielle. Version française, bien sûr.
